Just a quick post to let you know that I successfully passed the biennial check yesterday. I went flying saturday and sunday, did my share of landings and approaches to various airports. It was pretty windy both days, winds mostly straight down the runway.

The biennial consists of an hour of ground work (theory) and an hour of flying. Since the weather was windy and clouds were rolling in we started with the flight portion. We went through slow flight, steep turns, power on and off stalls, unusual attitudes and short field approaches. Stalls are interesting in 9394C: it’s really hard to stall the airplane with the wings straight, it just sort of mush-es, no wing drop or anything.

Anyhoo, it was nice to get this out of the way again. 9394C is a babe.
